Have I just been missing something? Up till now my 8900 on at&t hasn't had stuff like media mall, navigator etc (you know, all that crap they push onto your phone).
Haven't done anything different, just rebooted and there it was. So my question, has anyone else already had these on their 8900? If not could this be a sign the 8900 is coming? Am I a bonafide idiot?

Edit:meant does this mean its coming to at&t.

I might be able to answer your last question......

Don't know about the 8900 and ATT.

You can always delete the files and the service books for the "crap" files!

Just thought it was odd, since I've gotten this and unlocked, I've not had any of that pushed stuff on the phone.
Suddenly I have shortcuts to but pac man, trivia games, mobile banking and of course telenav in my dl folder.

I figured it was coming, just thought since games and stuff were showing it was a sign it was coming soon.
I remember hitting media mall on the pc trying to get bejeweled and it telling me wasn't for my phone.

Yeah, all the junk showed up on my bb after reboot yesterday. :-(

I hope that is a sign that it's coming to AT&T, but I was really enjoying life without all the added crap! LOL

It just irritates me to be forced to have anything. I know I can delete the service books and stuff but they just find their way back so I don't see the point.

You guys can hide the icons from the menu. Just highlight them, hit the BB button and click hide. No more annoying icon you'll never use.

I put mine in a folder so I don't see them, but it just irks me that I am forced to have something on MY BB that I don't choose to have. Guess I never got over that rebel "you can't make me do it" phase or something. ;-)

I know they can be hidden, did it with the old 8310. Like above, irritating to have stuff you don't want on the blackberry. More importantly I think this says the 8900 may not be too far off for at&t.
