How do I stop messages sent to my @att.blackberry.net email from showing up in my regular message box? The @att.blackberry.net has it's own icon on the home screen.

Messages InBox will always capture "all" of your accounts. (You can seperate sms messages but thats about it)

How many email accounts are you currently pushing to your device? Each of them should also have their own "in-box'

just that one...i didn't know it was "pushing" what is that? I simply want to click the icon and see what's there when i want to, not to have it pop up on my device every time i get a nw message

go into your Profiles, Advanced, select your Active Profile, scroll down to Messages account in quesiton and select it. Edit your notifications to NONE and see if that helps.....

popping, pushing .. thats exactly what BB's do .. they push mail from the service and reconcile wirelessly with your device.. (and most ppl like them all in one inbox)

you can separate your inboxes one for all text messages and MMS messages

and one for ALLLLL your emails

go to messages, options , then general options and select what you want.

if you want to access each email inbox separately, you can hide your main email inbox titled messages.. and just use the other ones individually.
