    ATT BES Gmail Woes

    Hi guys,

I just got a new 8310 from my company and set up an individual email account on it with my gmail.

I can't access ATT's settings to set up the filters cause I have a BES account. Is there any other way I can prevent gmail from sending my duplicate emails?

    Thanks for your responses.

How did you set up the gmail account to push to the 8310?

    540,

I am checking on this (BES is not my area) but I would think you would still deal with these type accounts on the ATT BIS site - have you tried?

Isn't the Personal E-mail Setup essentially the same as going to the BIS site?

I believe so. Here is the site for AT&T:

Yes, thanks Gary. Just answered my own question by going to Personal E-mail Setup on my Curve.

540, whatever user name and password you used in Personal E-mail Setup will get you into the BIS on your PC, but since they're one and the same, you should be able to create whatever filters you need from either the device or your PC.

Cool deal! Glad it worked out for you!

And welcome to posting on PinStack! Looks like you've been around for awhile, like I was before I started posting regularly.

It's amazing what you can and will learn on this site. Lots of great people willing to help in any way.
