AT&T releasing the 8900 to the stores tomorrow?

I just t/t a store rep here in MI about upgrading my line from my 8310 and she told me if I like the 8900 to wait one more day and they were supposed to be selling them. She said it was supposed to be on sale today, but they held off because not all of the stores got their shipments...

    Can anyone confirm that???

Hmmm...then I would ask why she would pass on a sale of a Bold if the 8900 wasn't due for a while yet?

    I called 3 local AT&T stores...

#1: rep had no idea when, just said early summer
    #2: rep said 5/21
#3: rep said late June/early July

Tell me that ain't a wide range. LOL!!!

As for the T-Mobile exclusive, that should just be about up.

I do not think so. More would have been said.

You got to understand that the people in the AT&T stores know the least! You will hear about it here way before they arrive in the stores. They would never even deliever them to the stores until just before delivery to the public.

It is going to be a few weeks off.

Switched to T-mobile just recently just so I can have the 8900 without having to unlock the device. Service seems about the same so far. As far as processing speeds between the Bold and the 8900, I think the Bold is still the faster phone. This 8900 is still slow when downloading and reading the memory card.

Funny you should say that-I have a Bold and my next upgrade is June 24. I will probably get the 8900. I like my toys too, lol.

In an Agent Owners meeting, it was said June release date for the 8900 but no promises. I'm figuring on mid June launch with at&t, although we did get e new price sheet that had the 8900 priced on it and has a sku, but most of the time that is done for pre-orders. Just an fyi from an agent prospective.
