I'm really excited to see the 8900 getting closer to release, I'd much rather have it then a Storm...I'm just not that big into the whole touchscreen "thing" I guess.

No word that the 8900 is going to work on EVDO is there?

Nope. The Niagara(CDMA Bold) has to come out first. Then the Jupiter(CDMA Javelin) will come out. The Niagara will run on Rev A and the Jupiter will run on Rev 0. so it's just like the Bold(3G) and 8900(EDGE). This will happen in '09.

Yo I've been that saying that for the longest. All I need is a relative date and I'll be able to surf a non-Blackberry website for a change, lol.
    I have a BlackBerry and a WhiteApple. :)

That's all I needed to know, I can easily hold onto my Curve until mid to late '09 if it means sticking with my current provider to get my hands on a CDMA 8900.

I may yet fall victim to the touchscreen epidemic but as much as I love the look and functionality of the Storm, I'd still much ra(her wait for the CDMA 8900.

My thoughts exactly. I like the Bold keyboard so much, I don't know if I can go back.

The lack of 3G is definitely a deal breaker for me.

The only thing the Javelin has going for it is the camera and the size. Not enough for me to switch.

Eh, looks cheap. Probably will just keep my bold till the next version of it comes out.

What is the reviewer referring to when he states, "The fact that you use basically a different browser for Wi-Fi is still really annoying though."? <<Is that correct punctuation?

There actually are two different browsers for each of the two connections. There's one for Wifi and one for 3G/EDGE. I don't know why they haven't combined them, but that's how it is for now.

Im definitely in love with the new design and the new flushed top of the unit. Also im pretty sure it wont be that hard to adjust back to a curve keyboard
