    AT&T and 8310 phone unlocking

So I called att to ask for the unlock code for my 8310 and they didn't give it to me. Apparently there are conditions you have to meet to get a phone you bought from them tone unlocked. Either you bought the phone full price. No discount or rebates or upgrades. And/or you have to finish your contract with them.

I tried using the I'm going out of the country for the summer excuse and ended up being offered a different phone or something like that. This sucks. Can somebody help me unlock my phone. I don't wanna part with it when I switch to a different carrier

Hey just get some one that is with Tmobile to call Tmobile and request a phone unlock, it wont cost you or that a person anything. When they call just have them act like its their phone that they bought online.

Unlocking allows you to use the phone with any carrier..

For example - If you have T-Mobile as your carrier (like I do) and you either unlock an AT&T Curve or buy an Unlocked AT&T Curve (like I did) than you will be able to use it with T-Mobile.

But the phone is locked with att not tmo. Will they still do it?
Hm.. I know that T-Mobile will definitely not unlock AT&T phones, maybe you can try calling AT&T again and maybe get a different rep., sometimes the rep. is the problem.

Or you can go online and easily find an unlocker.

    I agree with Don LuiG.

Just make sure to check their feedback and how many they have sold.
Most of them are pretty trustful and they don't cost an arm and a leg.

yeah i don't blame you for not trusting ebay but like I said you just have to pay attention to who you deal with, specially people out of the country never deal with them

All you have to do to get the phone unlocked as long as you are an AT&T customer is let customer care know that you travel international quite often and that you need the unlock code repeat call if rep does not give you code. they should give you it right over the phone with instructions every BB has different instructions of unlocking. hope this help.

    AT&T employee.
