PC hardware with Gentoo, XP Pro for tech stuff and Windows Compatibility when needed.

Nothing is as streamlined as a properly tuned Gentoo installation.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I use a mac for work and a pc for home. I do want to convert fully to a mac, but the fact that desktop manager doesn't work that well with the mac, really prevents me from getting one

Mac Pros at the office, MBP at home, the only reason I had to install Parallels on a Mac at home just for the Blackberry.

I use PC at home, and work. Love Linux though.

Is it possible to us a mac, and load windows on it to use the desktop manager?

A guy at church is a mac guy, but needs windows sometimes and says that windows on a mac is more stable than straight windows on a PC.

Yes. You can most definitely use windows on a mac and yes its much better to run it on. a mac.

I guess i was asking if there is any problems using the desktop manager like that.

But on a side note, I am a big gamer, do you know if there are problems running games that way?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~If you're a gamer a hopped-up pc would be the way to go. If you're more into generating music, making movies, DVDs, photo editing then Mac is for you. I know a lot of guys that have a PC desktop and a Mac laptop. They game on the desktop and chat and listen to music on the laptop with it on their laps. U wouldn't suggest PC gaming on the Mac using Windows.
