I have a program called Aerize Card loader that lets me do that.

Just be aware that Aerize only stores apps on the SD. It will not launch them from the SD. Instead it loads the app into bb memory then launches. As of now bb has no true app launching capability from the sd card. I miss that from my Palm days.

Thanks guys. Tried Aerize. It should provide option of transfering apps to card but doesn't, and like mentioned, loads thru device memory-big deficiencies. It's laughable my Curve will tell me that there isn't enough memory to download an app when I have almost 2g open on the card. RIM needs to seriously focus on this issue.
