While trying to run the app loader from the desktop software I get the following ... BlackBerry Curve forum

    App Loader Error

    Advertisement



    While trying to run the app loader from the desktop software I get the following error

    "The selected device is currently supporting an active dial-up networking session. To continue the loading process close the dial-up session and press retry, or to exit the Application Loader press Cancel."

    I have no dial-up connection open that i'm aware of.
    Did a battery pull and no help. Any ideas?

    I have no clue PcPilot, but until someone who knows gets here have you used your Curve as a modem recently?

    are you trying through bluetooth? or usb?

    yes ^^ how exactly are you connecting to your PC/laptop? what version Desktop Manager are you using?

    It works fine on my laptop at home, But I get the error on my work laptop.
    Oh well at least I know it's not the Curve.

    try this "In Windows Device Manager, open the 'Ports' item and disable any items labeled 'RIM Virtual Serial Port'. This may require a system reboot."
