    Annoyed at Verizon AND Google

So i am getting all this tasty news that the latest Google maps works with the storm GPS now.

Thats really awesome....... except i have an 8330. and lo and behold, no gps support for google maps on 8330

    This is just ridiculous.
BB maps is an absolute joke when compared to google maps. and Verizon is just damn lazy. and i am just pissed.

and BOO on Google, for not pushing harder to get the other phones working. i think they are perfectly aware of all the vzw BBs out there that are NOT storms, and should be working to get their product on the other devices. Maybe they are, but they should be pushing VZW to actually get off their AS*ES and get it done.

haha sorry for the brief rant, but i am just getting frustrated with hte damn run around that verizon is giving their loyal BB customers.

    sincerely,

    a pissed off customer

I just downloaded the app, and it did not work with the gps on my Verizon 8330. It is locked to only VZNavigator and BBMaps.

If you enable GPS in the engineering screen, does Google Maps work?

I've tried about every gps (that I didn't have to pay for) and the only one that works on my 8330 is bb maps that's the only one vzw has allowed gps to work on
