    Question Address book sub folders

I have created groups and placed contacts within those groups but the contacts still show up in the main address book. What I really want to do is speed my searches by creating groups that contain a common theme i.e. work, and then place all work contacts within that folder. I then don't want to see those contacts listed in the main address book. I only want to see them if I drill down into that group/folder.

    Is this possible to accomplish?
    thx.

I tried that but as far as I know its not possible because if u did that it would take away from u being able to assing idividuals their pictures ect since the numbers are saved or stored on your address book individually if that makes any sence

I too have tried this - if anybody can get a solution/app that will allow the address book to have a main screen as groupings, as opposed to the individuals, please hit me up!

    Thanks!
    Best of Luck!

As stated above, it's not currently possible, but you can assign categories to your Contacts and use those as filters to get the same effect. And you can have multiple categories for an individual contact so that they can be grouped differently. If you use Outlook and have already have them in folders, it is really simple to assign a category to all the contacts in a specific folder.
