Question Accessing text files on 8300

I have a need to have at my fingertips three small text files on my 8300. None of the information is particularly private. I've created the files, and stored them here:

Media > Menu Key > Explore > Media Card > and once there, I select the file I want and it is displayed.

The procedure to access these files is non-intuitive.

Is there a better way? An application that would do this?

    Any ideas?

You would have to e-mail yourself the documents by attaching them in an e-mail addressed to yourself...

Do you have a PIM such a Outlook or lotus notes? If so you could cut and paste them into notes and sync them to the MemoPad app on the BB.

    Hope this helps.

Is there a Personal Infomation Manager other than Outlook or Lotus notes that will synch with the Blackberry? I don't have either.

Depending on how small the text files are and what they are for you might consider making them an auto text entry. For example, if it is simply text you need to say a lot and don't want to have to cut and paste it over and over or type it out again and again I make it an auto text entry and just set it to fire off when I press say xxx or some such thing.

I did this for my mom for when she is driving and cannot text. She hits xxx and out comes a an explaination for why she can't respond and how she will be with whoever shortly.

If this isn't want you meant at all then ignore me.

For text data that I constantly access I add an entry into the phonebook and use the notes field.
