    Sorry to rain on the parade, but I just did the same thing with my 6GB card. My 8320 recognizes the 6GB card and shows it as having 5.6GB of total space and 5.3GB of free space (I have about 300K of files on the card).

    The problems start when you fill the card beyond 2GB (or possibly 4GB -- I don't remember which). Someone needs to fill an 8GB card close to its capacity or format the card with the BlackBerry. Then we'll know if it's truly compatible.
