    8900 Number 4

I got my 4th warranty replacement of the 8900 after having a few of them. The 4the one shut off last night and wouldn't turn back on. After being on the phone with T-Mobile for 45 minutes I decided to go back to a 8320. The 8900 is an awesome phone when it's working ok. They are sending me a brand new titanium 8320 sealed in the box. I'm so lost without my berry.

Sorry to hear that. I've had no probs with mine at all (well none that weren't my fault).

That's a run of bad luck. I've had mines since Monday. So far, so good.

I've had mine since it was released...working perfectly. This has got to be an isolated case.

I definitely hope it's an isolated case. I don't want anyone to go through what I did. Like I said, when it's working properly, the 8900 is an awesome device. The 8320 will serve it's purpose for now. I'm not business user so it's cool. I wish everyone luck with theirs. Maybe I'll have enough guts to go back to one later on down the line.

That totally sucks. I would milk T-mobile for all you can get out of them. Thats ridiculous.

Another string of bad luck? You had fits with the 8220 Flip last year.

You have my simpathy for your loss, and I agree they should bend over backwards to make it right. But it could be worse. At least it is a blackberry even if it's a step down.

I spoke too soon my 8900 died again. I'm sticking with the 8320.

my 7th will be here on monday :-(
Am I the only one with keyboard problems? Besides getting keyboards that shift, slide and creak all over the place, and besides the loose battery cover (both issues I could live with), I find that when I press on the end or send keys that approximately 3 out of 5 times the keys in the row located directly below become activated. I know it is not my fingers accidentally hitting the buttons beneath the end and send keys because I tested it out by using a pencil instead of my fingers.

In any case, T-mobile gave me unlimited minutes for 49.99/month, and they reduced the price of my 8900 down to 129.99 from 179.99. nice.
