I doubt that AT&T will be getting the 8900 first. AT&T screwed over RIM on the Bold introduction and delayed it for the iPhone2.

I bet RIM does not give AT&T another exclusive for a LONG time!

Been using AT&T for many years, back when it was called Cingular. They have had the best coverage for me. I can not remember when I had my last dropped call. Used to be with Nextel but got dropped calls all the time.

AT&T did RIM wrong with the iPhone2, RIM will not forget it. I have a Rogers 8900 on the way

From pics I've seen, looks like 8900 has panel over trackball like the Bold. How do you get the assembly out to clean it?

The new Atomic Trackball has been developed to prevent dust, dirt and other pests. So you might not even worry about cleaning the trackball or the ball to get stuck.

    Welcome to Stacks, impalass96!
Good to have you. I'm in L.A. too
This "Atomic Trackball" is self cleaning? Like when you've got lotion or food or other stuff on thumbs, the thing cleans itself?

what OS is on the device now?
I picked one up today at Rogers. It has OS 4.6.1.94.

My keyboard is TIGHT. It is taking me time to get used to the size of it after being on the Bold for 5 months.

I wish I had seen this phone before the Bold came out. I love the size of it.

If I could have 3 wishes they would be:

    1. full size usb cord instead of the micro usb. Of course the micro was necessary due to the thiness of the case.
    2. 3G, though my Bold is only on 3G when it is in a major centre, and I am seldom in Major centres.
    3. MORE FREAKIN' THEMES included in the ORIGINAL OS. Plazmic takes forever to release new CDKS so I am stuck with the Precision Silver
All in all I am very happy with this device.... Way To Go RIM!!

They still stick on occasion, if it is anything like the Bold. As a matter of fact.... Looking at my 8900 and 9000 side by side... THEY ARE IDENTICAL!!

Muahahahaha... Notice the RUBBING it in factor?
