I have always used my BB as a music player. At home, in the car (with a cassette adapter), everywhere I can.

I read of some research somewhere... can't remember exactly where... they tested an 8310, a regular iPod, a Zen and something else I can't remember. It was a blind music test. Same songs. Each device was plugged into the same standard third-party speakers.

The results indicated that folks couldn't tell the difference, but the BlackBerry actually won.

    Telling...

I challenge anyone to do the same. I have tried it. Pretty much the same result.

Like Anthony, I carry around docs and such as well. I also have a movie or two on card at all times in case of complete boredom!

BlackBerry is the ultimate multimedia platform.

Ipod touch is just a too large mp3 player. I could never understood buying it. If one is for the i, then buy an iphone.

Theres is also the redneck style. Ducktape an ipod touch to a blackberry for an iberry. LOL

LOL @ iberry. I had a iphone for awhile (don't judge me lmao) and its not my cup of tea. Its a nice device but a horrible phone.
What are some good headphones to get?
I currently have some ipod ones I'm using. Not that great plus they are white and don't match my lovely 8900.

I use my 8900 and a pair of Shure Headphones SE530 and i love the sound. You get all the sounds you miss with other headphones.

I stopped using my ipods a while back. No regrets here. Blackberry works great with my music.

I am Bose fan. For quality in sound and also customer service. With them you'll buy once and it will last forever.

I recently bought their Companion 5 pc speakers, WOW absolutely amazing.

I love ifrogz headphones, plus the ability to customize the colors the way you want.
