    Question 8820 or 8320?

My search skills must be weak today because I couldn't find any comparisons between the 8820 and the 8320. As near as I can tell, there is a bit of a size advantage for the 8320 and a bit of a battery life advantage for the 8820. Then there is the camera vs. GPS difference that I imagine is more personal preference than anything else. What am I missing?

The situation is that I am going to be getting 2 very shortly (myself and my wife) and want a good calendar function to keep us in sync as well as the full qwerty keyboard and I will be doing lots of email responses via the BB. I am with T-Mobile and the WiFi calling (hotspot @ home) is a huge bonus for me. Will both of these phones meet my needs? Is there a reason the 8820 is $100 more than the 8320? Am I missing another option that might be even better?

    Thanks!
ps: First post, probably not the last. I hope this was the right forum.

The following link will allow you to view the features of both models under T-Mobile. I tried to find a link for a side by side comparison, but no joy. You should be able to find all you need for comparison here:

    Kalrog,

If you will be doing "lots of email responses" you may want to consider and test the KB size. I believe that the 8820 has a slightly larger KB and I have found the curve KB to be a a bit cramped. (or maybe I just have fat thumbs ) Again, personal preference.

My hands are fairly small, but thanks for the info. I will check out the keyboard size.

How does that sudo-QWERTY keyboard of the pearl (thinking 8120) work? Is it worth it maybe for my wife who won't be doing nearly as much in the way of typing?

IMO the 8120 is great for users who would prefer a smaller device. Sure Type is actually pretty easy to get used to....I think the hardest past is learning to trust the technology.
