    8330 text message limit

When I compose a sms message it only let's me type 160 characters and then I must compose another message.

I know sms is 160 per message but on my 8320 I was able to type as much as I wanted and would automatically break the message down into how ever many messages were needed to fit what was being texted.

Is there a way to change this?

Doesn't it depend on the carrier? With my nextel BB I had mms, but with the curve under sprint, my only option is sms. Outside of email..

I emailed him about it weeks ago, I was contacted by a rep who told me that there was no server for mms(bb server) and there probably never will be, then she proceeded to try to sell me the instinct.

The woman who contacted me wasnt a typical CSR I dont believe. She had a direct number and called me a few days after I sent the email. Sprint is really trying to push that instinct, i guess trying to compete with the iphone or what not. She was from Va. probably some special team they put together to answer the bajillion emails for the dan@sprint.com email add.. lets all email dan and demand an mms server!! lol

but I do love the EVDO also its great, everything else about my berry is top notch.

Its good to know that that whole "hey, I am Dan Hess, email me with your concerns" wasn't just a ploy and that they actually have some sorta paln behind it to deal with people that have actual gripes about there phones or service.

I have been a loyal SPRINT customer for 6yrs, and its good to see that that are starting to get a clue!!!

Thanks to Sprint PDA owners not having Picture Mail, Sprint Has slightly faster Data then VZW. Less Load on there Data Network.

Make Sure you have TEP thou if you are a Sprint loyalist.

    TEP?

MMS is very nice to have but when you really think about it (at least in my case) I have everyone's email add that I send mms to anyway and I just send it there. my number 1 concern for getting MMS was solely the amount of pics/video that I send my husband on a regular basis, but he got a curve 1 week after I did so we just use mssgr, its faster anyway.
