8320 with GPS through Google maps?

okay so i was in florida this past week visiting family...unfortunately my grandmother is very sick and this may have been her last christmas ...so not really knowing the area too well and driving back and forth between tampa and st. pete so often i found the need to use my google maps more than i usually do...I LOVE this program...one of the truly great google innovations...but the thing that really got me is that this new version of google maps gives you a rough estimate on your current location if you use it's driving directions. The whole time i used it i was given a small blue dot with a nickle-sized halo showing me my relative position on the map...i have unlimited data plan with t-mobile and latest firmware and software just thought i'd share and see if anyone else is getting this "GPS location"

happy holidays to all and happy new years! you guys here @ the stacks are great...don't know if i'd be as addicted to my berry without you...thanks for giving me another vice :P...see ya round the stacks!

yep, seems quite a few are using it. Try these threads to see what they had to say about how it worked out for them so far:

Try those.. most have had good luck with it, while some (like me) did not get a very close approximation of location at all (was off by a few miles for me, and the tower I use is 100meters behind my house)
