Hey I was amazed at the good quality. I just upgraded from a 8100, it sucks! You're good to go now with your blackberry bose!~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

The speaker is amazing. The quality of the mic is really good too.

I hate to sound repetitive, but I feel I must

The speaker is awesome and can get very loud without that blown-out sound. Get a nice-sized SD card and you'll be jamming in no time.

It you want the speaker to go a little louder, try a new battery door. I hear that it's a big difference, and they lowered their price 5 dollars, (use to be 20) happyhunting

the battery doors that somthinsim mentioned are great, they allow more sound to escape the casing. if you don't want a new battery door, the regular speaker is great!

a silly little tip, if you're sitting around and using your phone to listen to music, put it in the toe of your shoe. the echo and shoe shape fills out the bottom end, so it actually sounds like a full spectrum music playback. *make sure that the speaker/top of phone is facing into the shoe towards the toes!*

With the tmo os official its really loud with any other beta it was crappy but with the latest 4.5.0.69 its better. I also cup my hand like if i was holding poker card in my hand(hope that make sense)behind the speaker and it comes back at you louder.

so if tmo ever gets OS 4.5 will that improve the speaker volume on the pearl 8100 as well, or is it just gonna continue to suck?
