    8320 rebate... denied.

    I bought my 8320 on 09/22, two days before the scheduled launch date (Monday). After reading that some people had already gotten the new Curve on Friday, I kept checking this forum and found out that the launch date had been pulled up to 09/22, Saturday. Anyway, I got a letter from the rebate center today saying that I'm not eligible for the $50 MIR. I was told at the time of purchase that I would be eligible, since I was new to T-Mobile and because there was an official email sent out to T-Mobile reps authorizing the early sale. Anybody have any ideas?

    Is there a number to call for questions or details? Maybe go back to the store.

    Yeah, there's a number on the letter I received. I'll try calling tomorrow to see if I can get this fixed. With the exception of the T-Mobile site being slow and always getting which Blackberry I have wrong, I'm enjoying the switch from Sprint. Hopefully, they won't let me down so soon into my 2 year contract.

    I would investigate this further. I would especailly push the fact that you received guidance from the T-mobile seller that they could sell this item earlier than expected. You shouldn't be penalized at all for this. LEt us know what becomes of this!

    bring it back to the store and speak with the store manager, you may likely receive a credit applied to your bill.

    I doubt it. The store, I 'll bet, will just say "call Customer Support", and offer to dial the number on their phone

    I got initially scammed out of a rebate for the phone I had with T-mobile before the Pearl because I had transferred a number from a land line and it didn't show up as a new activation. The rebate people were complete jerks. I complained to T-Mobile customer service, though, and they just credited my bill with the rebate amount. Virtually no hassle--I've had several little problems here and there with T-mo since and they've always handled it to my complete satisfaction. Give their customer service people a couple tries.

    Well, the rebate center line doesn't work. After 5 minutes of options, it redirects my call and then hangs up. I've called 3 times now. I think I'll try calling customer service instead.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~goto the store make sure that is a corp store. Explain the situation and see where that goes and if all they do is put you with cc keep pushing the rebate is yours also keep in mind you can ask to speak to a supervisor.
