    8320 Curve Space Bar (keyboard)

I have had my Tmobile curve for about 6 weeks. Recently, the space bar seems not to work unless I really press it hard. It clicks just like the other keys, but no space on the screen.

Has anyone else had this issue, and is there any way to take it apart and fix it?

My 2 year old 8700G is still "like new"... I'm suprised this Curve is not as tough.

    data,

If you are dealing with a 6 week old unit I would suggest you exchange it.

I Dont Have A Curvbe But You Might Have To Retirn It With A Differnet One. You Should Go To Your Wireless Provider Or Call Them To Ask Also But Check Here Also Becasue Your Wireless Provider Might Be Lying

Curves have been know to have keyboard issues. My "p" wouldn't work. My replacement, the "m" would type a "$". My replacement dealt with the track ball so it wouldn't be fair to count this. But when you get to the 5th replacement all went well. Looking at this you'd think I'm anti curve......ohhhh noooo! I would recommend this bad boy to everyone I know and once 4.5 is released officially I will be happppppyyyyyyy. Sorry I didn't mean to do that. My P and Y button stuck lol

My Y button did that and I returned it for a new one and mine was only about 10 days old. My new has not had a problem.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ well, when returning/exchanging outside of your 14 day grace period, you need do to all transactions via telephone (611). If you go into a store, I am pretty sure they will not replace any device. You could always call up to your nearest tmo first and see...

I've always just gone up to the store. I had to do it with my original Pearl, and one of my friends had to do it with her three week old Curve (screen started messing up, trackbass wasn't working, and the vibrating quit. That phone was just in BAD shape.) They replaced it immedietly.
