    8320 Bluetooth and Mac

I have a 8320 and run a macbook pro. Is it possible to pair the 8320 to a mac or not. I have tried without success but was wondering if anyone has ever been able to do it. I would love to run my sync this way or grab files without having to plug in.

    Anyone have any luck??

I have paired my Curve with my Macbook. Simply turn on the Bluetooth on your Mac, run Bluetooth set-up on your Curve, and it should find it. This is what I did and have not had a problem yet.

If you are attempting to send to your Curve, you need to be sure that you select "Receive Using Bluetooth" on your phone when you are ready to send so it knows something is coming. Going to the Mac it should prompt automatically on the screen.

Has anyone written (or found) a script for bluetooth tethering the Curve and MacBook/ MacBook Pro ?

I tried the 8300 script that was out there, without luck.

I'd even settle for a USB tether.

I tried every script there was possible and spent endless hours with blackberry support but no solution. The only way i got it to work on my macbook with leopard was too tether it using VMWare fusion with Windows XP.

If you are tethered to a mac, you can use the pocketmac software, it syncs everything except for sticky notes as far as I can tell. I use it daily with great results, but I am running Tiger, not Leopard. I have found that with bluetooth, I can pair the curve to the mac but when I go to browse the devise (curve) or try to send files to the curve, i get a message that the devise is not compatible. boooo
