don't think it will let you...I heard it was carrier specific and it will ask you for your pin.

Waiting for T-Mobile to release 4.5 will take forever. I just upgraded and everything is smooth. Go for it!

Upgraded to the most recent OS 4.5.0.81 (Fiji) and havent had any issues thus far. Go for it, worse case scenario you downgrade back to original OS. Here is a starting point. http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...ad.php?t=76342

Goodluck, remember the stack is a great resource for questions.

Defintiely worth the upgrade. The new OS is considerably better. Forget about the Video Camera. The ability to view HTML email is worth it alone.

Also, Docs to Go is no slouch either.

New os rocks. I'm running on the older 4.5.0.52 or something and it still rocks.

Upgraded from .52 to .81 yesterday and noticed I had more free memory but I see now its still going away.

    No other issues with .81.

    data1025,

Yeah I noticed the same thing. Like someone said, memory leak might just be a main issue for 4.5. I always do a clean up then a reset every night so I'll be fine.

I don't see any advantages personally - except Docs to Go.

Wi-Fi seems slower, internet is no better imo and it constantly freezes up. Oh yeah, NO MY FAVES!

Either I'm doing something wrong, or ... .81 SUX!

Can anyone direct me to an earlier upgrade which has Docs To Go?

It mos def. doesn't suck. Some people just have bad luck. I would suggest you reload OS.

I'll bet you did the upgrade with a media card in the device.

    Works Great

I have T-Mobile and upgraded to .81 and I have MyFaves and it works great. It is worth upgrading. Just follow the instructions for upgrading.

    No, I sure didn't.

I'm attempting to figure out the OS downgrade procedure now.
