GPS for me, I have my laptop when I travel, wifi would be nice but it is still going to take the device a while to read sites with tons of Javascripts, like some sites I use while travelling, Definately GPS comes in handy when sense of direction malfuntions or I just cant find my way, anyway I love infospace find it.

I was told the board is too small to have GPS, wi-fi AND and camera. If you want GPS and wi-fi and don't need the camera get an 8820

I'm in deep consideration of switching from my ppc to a blackberry and I would have to say I'd chose Wifi over GPS. As long as the bluetooth works with gps my key fob of a gps (Holux 240) should pair fine.

I have to go with the GPS. Let's just say I'm directionaly challenged and I live in a not so populated area so wi-fi isn't widely available and besides I tether my curve to my laptop so I can have internet that's faster than dial up. That's all we can get out here. Hoping att gets the 8310 before the end of the month so I can exchange my 8300 for it. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Just got the 8310 on O2(uk) and can honestly say the GPS is great. I live in the countryside where wifi is limited. If I need to work on the net I use the laptop

You have an 8310 from O2?????

I have been asking O2 when the 8310 is available and they keep telling me they do not have a release date yet.

Looks like a phone call is in order!

Wifi most definitely. I have poor cell coverage at the house, so I can't wait for the crystal clear coverage off the home network! Plus the browsing speeds.

I think this thread goes to show why there's a wifi model and a gps model. It's pretty equal about how many people want GPS as those who want WiFi.

    Re: 8310 vs 8320?

Were going to carry the 8310, i personally would prefer the option of GPS.. Since when im at work i have broadband on the pc's and at home. So very rarely need to use the BB browser unless im not home or at work. And for those occurences the EDGE network is fine. Not sure if everyone is aware but at&t doesn't offer a VoIP hotspot @ home service like TMO hence why were only carrying the GPS version.
