    8310.. Please Wait Delay

After I enter my password into my 8310... the 'Please Wait' message has been staying up on my screen longer and longer... can I purge/delete anything in order to reduce this wait?

Try deleting your event log and some emails/sms/mms if necessary. To delete your event log press ATL+L+G+L+G. Then, press the bb key --> Clear Log --> Verify deletion. I don't know if that helps, but whenever my bb runs slow, I delete the event log and it seems to run at a a faster pace.

I notice that it is sending/receiving data during please wait...

it's annoying because I may just want to place a call or check my calendar..

At first was faster... but soon slowed down again... like two minutes later.
