    8310 on T-Mobile

    Hi everyone,

I've been contemplating the idea of switching my service from AT&T to T-Mobile because my bill's been chewing like a pitbull on my wallet these past months. I do use everything on my bb from gps to texting to browsing so you know I must have my data package. I do like the fact that T-mobile has this fav5 deal so I'm tempted to switch over to them and since my brother works for them i might get a deal as well. Anyway, my question is the following. Let's say i go over to them tomorrow and have my att unlocked from customer service from att and take it to tmobile...will it work on their server?

C, I just had a TMO 8120, unlocked and used it on my ATT sim. Data and everything worked, so if you get your Curve unlocked it should be fine.

Awesome!! you guys are great . Thank you so much for your quick replies. Always can depend on Pinstack to clear something out. Thanks again guys. I gotta get this baby unlocked asap. I would get the 8900 but it's getting a little old on Tmobile already so I might hold off and see what the summer awaits.

Are you sure you wanna jump ship? ATT is going to get the Onyx very soon according to Engadget. 3G, wi-fi, 3.2 mp camera, etc, etc.

If "Magnum" does come out I can honestly say I carry two "Magnums" in my pockets

it will. Oh man, what to do Take the punch and wait till Magnum drops. I saw the new 8520 and the Onyx but they both look alike or souped up curve/bold. I do like the fact that the 8520 has evolved in terms of trackball to optical technology. But I'm so definitely eager to know if in fact Magnum will get released

One quick note... I have T-Mobile, and I had an unlocked/jailbroken iPhone second gen and 3g on my line, and the MyFaves (fav5) didnt work, the minutes I spent talking to those people got taken out of my "minute pot" so they werent really like "free minutes". The guy at the tmobile store near me said you have to take the phone to them and verify that it could be myfave fav5 compatable. So be careful before you make any decisions

Thank you nfs. I'll keep that in mind. I guess I have no other choice than to be careful with my minutes now and just text these people lol. That is until a new bb arrives to AT&T other than the 8900; because technically it is already old because Tmobile had it way before they did. So, I guess i'll just wait on the bold's upgrade which could be Onyx or my dream "Magnum"
