Hi. New to BB and this forum. My 2 week old 8310 (ATT) has twice locked on hourglass, requiring removing the battery to reset. Any advice?

Sometimes a battery pull is necessary when that happens. Your BB is a computer so it freezes like one at times. It's usually no biggie.

You proballyh have an application that is not installed propertly. I would connect to the desktop and run the application loader. Sometimes that will clear up that little problem.

I have the same eternal hourglass problem--happened when I tried to install a new application and it said I didn't have enough memory. Now all I get is the hourglass. I've removed the battery and have tried to re-run the application loader, but it won't run.
I'd appreciate another suggestion from someone!
