    Hi

If anyone can help me, i would really appreciate it..
Ok, so I want to get the curve, but i don't know what is the difference between 8300 and 8310... I compared them on at&t website, and they seem to be the same... probably not since they have a different name...
could anyone tell me? thanks a lot... Oh and also which one is best?

    thanks

    The 8310 has GPS...think that's about it.

They are the exact same size/shape. GPS and color are the only differences (8300 is silver, 8310 comes in either Titanium or Crimson).

    Re: 8300 vs 8310 ?

I have both. I would suggest the 8310. The reason is the build quality is better. The track ball is a bit better, and the keyboard offers better tactile feedback.

In terms of features the main difference is GPS is included on the 8310. There are also some very small differences which I will not list as they are many and would make my post here quite lengthy.

Finally the other upgrade of significance is the improved phone performance. Perfectly clear with warm voice tones, great reception, and a wide range of volume adjustment from soft to very loud. The very best phone of all the new phones I have purchased in the last 12 months (they number over 20).

Finally since the 8310 is the newest version, it will last the longest.

Hope this answers your questions & helps you.

Indeed it would be most wise to go with the 8310 is actually replacing the 8310 in the lineup. It just males more sense to get the newest phone becsude sny warranty exchange after the next couple months would net you an 8310 anyways.~via CRIMSON BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

    8310 has GPS
    8320 has WiFi

8320 is useless, the WIFI browsing is SO slow it's not funny. Go with the 8310, it's far better and more practical than bluetoothing a puck GPS.

You're with ATT and the 8320 is only offered by TMO so that would mean switching carriers to get that one. I would highly recommend the 8310. Definitely an upgrade from the 8300 and they have definitely improved the build quality and you get GPS!

So not true,it is no less useful than the 8310 and with correctly setup wifi it is faster than the edge network (not by much but it is slightly faster so if complaining about surfing speed might as well complain about native speeds while you are at it, because that was not the main intent of wifi on the 8320). This may be your opinion, and may be a truer fact when referring to the 8320 on the AT$T network, but it shines when on the T-Mo network, as the improved reception by calling over wifi is great (actually what its intended main use is for), and blows away the reception problems that I have had with AT$T.
Having said that the 8310 is the better deal between the 8300 and 8310, and even if you get an 8320 unlocked for use you will have slight loss of some features, so I would recommend the 8310.

    Enjoy your Curve!

To the person who commented about the 8320 being useless, go home and write about something you know, not speculation.
