Recently, my Rogers BB Curve 8300 home screen goes dark after about 10-20 seconds, and I need to press the trackball to -relight up the screen again ... what's going on here?

I have the "backlight timeout" on the screen to 90 seconds ... am I missing something?

Set it (automatically dim backlight) to "off" and see if that fixes the problem.

yeah, i would try turning it off.

I had an issue with my device where it would be brighter than 10.. when i had it set to only 10. Once I changed the "Automatically Dim" option.. everything worked out!
