    8300 Calendar Issue

    I recently upgraded my 8300 handheld to version 4.2.2.89 (PLATFORM 2.4.0.39) and I am experiencing some calender issues. After the upgrade, I am no longer receiving reminders. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have tried wiping it clean but it still does the same thing.

    I just found the calendar patch, I will try that. Problem has been fixed

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~get the newest os for your 8300 and go from there I've never heard of an issue with the calendar, which I'm not doubting you of course. But that's odd....real odd

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~well there's no reason you shouldn't be able to connect to desktop manager. I would try to download the newest version of that off of RIM's website and see if that helps any

    i just loaded a calendar patch from bb and it messed up my phone. i now have a error 205 msg. i cannot access my phone. be careful.

    You can load the calendar patch or you can upgrade to the latest OS here:

    This will resolve your calendar issues and is a much snappier os than the version you have.

    I fixed it, all I had to do was was take out the battery after loading the patch and I reinstall desktop manager! Thanks Guys

    My issue with the calendar was connected with syncing with my corporate outlook. I wiped the device clean and it worked as long as I didn't sync again....

    my calendar has duplicates. ex: b-days show up twice on sametime time slot for same person. if i delete one, the other one becomes corrupted and doesn't work.
