Today my att 8300 was dead. I had to pull the battery to get it going. Anyone else have this problem. Is their any workarounds. The phone turned itself off I guess. Any thoughts.

I haven't seen this problem. Check your Options/auto off settings to make sure you haven't enabled them by mistake. Otherwise I've no idea.

    Hope this helps.

Let me tell you my 8300 went black and I thought it was because the battery was dead. Not the issue I performed a battery pull and tried to charge it then the screen got hot and the port for the charger was hot also. I returned mine and Im going back to the 8800 and wait unitl the iphone comes out and Im on it.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~Ive seen it once so far. My store has sold 12 Curves so far and only one had to be returned for this issue. Funny thing is it was mine. LOL. No problem. Just returned it and everything has been awesome!
