    Question 64k SIM card

    Hello again everyone,

Could any of the knowledgeable people here please confirm whether or not the 8300 curve requires one of the somewhat newer 64k SIM cards? I believe this may be the case but I'm just not sure, that may explain the call quality issue I have been experiencing.

    Thanks again

I do not think SIM cards affect call quality in any way...

I don't know about the new SIM thing, but I kept the one I had from my previous phone...

if you find that it does not work, just call AT&T (or your provider) and tell them your sim card does not work. they will more than likely make a notation on your account to allow you to go into an AT&T (or whatever) store to get the proper sim card for free. I know that AT&T usually charges $25 though if they do not give it to you for free. They usually only give free ones when there is a reason.

Well AT&T will replace it free of charge if it is an older one, or if it has Cingular on it.

Thank you, I am on my way to the local AT&T store.
