    hi everyone i have a curve from sprint with os. i went to my options and and look at the wireless update and i got a new os that showed up thats is and it on my main menu ready to be installed weird. now when i go to site i look up the upgrade i see these now BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.295/175,Package Version: well thse .188 is the 131.
    anyone know wat r the difference between these 2 os.

    whats crazy about it i can do the upgrade wireless hmmm anyone know about this been a while since i mess with my bb

    The wireless update is pushed to you from your carrier as the newest version they support. Carriers each release their own version to fix problems with their networks or add new functionality. If you want to use the version straight from RIM, it shouldn't be a problem, but if you want to stick with the safest and easiest solution, use the one your device wants to download.

    I am doing this now on my wifes phone. This was the first time i have ever saw this feature being used. Its pretty cool too, because right now the desktop manager doesnt want to connect my wifes phone to do the update.
