you would have to use JL_cmder to wipe the entire device.

alternatively, you can uninstall .76 and try to force a downgrade.

go to your PC control panel, to add/remove apps
removed the later, which would leave only the older one (unless you still need to download it)
once you only have the older, DM should recognize the downgrade and ask you what you want to do

toddone, did downgrade last night with out wiping. I tried deleting .76 and installing official .75 but DM would not downgrade.

What I did: Uninstall .76 on PC. install .75 from verizon. Search vendor.xml and delete it. (by the way make sure DM is closed). In the same folder as the vendor.xml there is an application icon (about 7mb). Don't have the exact name because I am at work but in detail view it should be towards the top. Connect device then double appication icon the update (downgrade in this case)application will run from there seperate from DM. It will tell you that you are about to install older software - confirm yes. Also, you want to let it do a back up so it will restore your settings. Let me know how this works for you!

Why would you downgrade ? I just loaded .76 on mine and it honestly became faster (i think); i will obviously report back after more than 1h30 of use lol. But it seems faster.

best way to downgrade is thru blackberry.com/update It gives you the downgrade ability without going thru JL_Cmder. Backs up data and reinstalls too. No need to wipe device that way. Just go to blackberry.com/update and follow instructions. Truly the best way.

BGlaw - I think I tried that but since I am on BES it would not let me do it.

To downgrade is a personal decision. I am just offering "how to" information not give therapy on why you want to downgrade.

    thanks

.76 is a lot better than .75 with battery life and the video works better
