    I would also recommend a device wipe after you back it up in Desktop Manager. (if you're on a BES you'll need a Password reset and will need to perfrom Enterprise Activation after the wipe.)

    Go to Options > Security settings/options > General Settings > Press Menu key left of the Trackball > Select "WIPE HandHeld" > Type blackberry to continue.

    This will revert your device back to default settings.

    After power up, you can use the set up wizard to set your date time, you may need to register through the host routing table.
    (options > advanced options > host routing table > menu key > register now)

    That or install a different OS version perhaps.
