I have a new one on the way from Verizon, but man what a design flaw (LOL)

Every time I would put my Storm back in it's case, it would catch the corner of the off button. It finally caught it and flung off today.

Who knows, maybe I'll get a newer os hehehe.

What kind of case did you carry it in? My buttons don't stick out so there is no way they'd catch on anything...

    Yeah, kinda my fault.

I know the buttons don't stick out, but as I slide in into the oem holster the corner of the holster hits the button.

Interesting. Mine didn't come with a holster. No one else I know had a holster come with theirs either.

That sucks that it broke, but at least they're going to warranty it for you.

When I bought it circuit city had a holster, and an earpiece included. It didn't come in the box, it was separate.

Ah, okay. That's what I did, bought a holster right away.

Well, sorry to hear it broke anyway.

That's a bummer. OEM holster caused this? That's not good.

Well since the screen is made of some sort of indesctructable titanium liquid/solid metalagraphic plastiglasstic material, I won't be getting a screen protector.

After hearing various people mention the OEM holster, slaying the red end key, I think I'll continue to rock out the Storm with nothing on.

What really sux is that my phones been flawless. Did the .75 beta and still worked great. With my luck I'm gonna get a crappy replacement, LOL....we'll see. I was pretty surprised they said they would send one right out. They told me to go to the Verizon store first, but then I kindly reminded her that they would definitely not have any....

after looking at it pretty good, it seems that the buttons are only attached at the top with 2 clips, so it seems like it'll be pretty easy to do it again. I think I'll buy a different type of holster.

fyi.. the BOLD's leather case it comes with works perfectly for the Storm too. if you can find one of those it really is perfect

With any luck, you can return it to Circuit City and get something else.

i like my oem leather holster. it has never caught on any button whatsoever. its not the ruggedness of the 8700 that i miss, but it definitely works.
