~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~that sounds about right. The Storm itself is about $200 bucks($50 dollar rebate
I paid $150 for mine. Verizon gave me another $50 off for being a ”valued customer".

Yes. Verizon is high. I wanted to move to them for a new phone but the plan I wanted came out to be $110/month.

I was gonna get a Palm Centro and these are the 2 packages I picked.

900 Minutes $59.99 (subtract $20 if I dropped down to the 450 minutes package)
5000 messages PLUS Unlimited IN Messaging $20
Total Equipment Coverage (WPP + Extended Warranty) $5.99
    Unlimited Data Usage $44.99

    Total $130.97 or $110.97 for 450 minutes

    OR
900 Minutes $59.99 (subtract $20 if I dropped down to the 450 minutes package)
5000 messages PLUS Unlimited IN Messaging $20
Total Equipment Coverage (WPP + Extended Warranty) $5.99
Email and Web For Smartphone $29.99

    Total $115.97 or $95.97 for 450 minutes

I was gonna get only 450 minutes ($39.99) with either bundle but I use way more minutes than that because my phone line in my room doesn't work anymore (don't ask) and I have to use my cell phone for all those calls.

No way is it that expensive. We have three lines all storms. Unlim text, 2100 voice, unlim data, three lines visual voicemail and one nav. We pay 250 ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

They don't do unlimited texting (one reason I didn't switch to them). IN Messaging is free messaging to any other Verizon customer.

OUCH What I quoted is what I selected from their website when I was going through it as if I was gonna sign up with them for a Palm device.

Ok that makes me feel better I was following this and dreading the merger. My plan with 4 lines 1200 minutes and unlimited everything plus nights and weekends after 7 runs just under 300 on Alltel and that also includes my data plan for using my 8330 as my modem on my laptop. Sounds like it will stay close to the same. .

In calling is nothing more than mobile to mobile within the network.
