    Great find.
A shame they are still disabling GPS for their pay VZNav service. Not a deal breaker by any means on my part though. One sweet phone!

My VZW Pearl is looking more and more like a rotary phone nowadays.

if you download the google maps app it keeps you from having to pay for VZNav. I used to work in the DSC for Verizon and this was one of the first things most of us that had blackberrys shared with others that didnt know about it.... Cant beat FREE plus i loved being able to see my house from street view... which i bet will look even better in landscape on the storm!!

I read it differently. I'm pretty sure it was saying the GPS wasn't locked so if you felt the need to use a different service other than VZNav you could. It just won't be as good in their opinion. Thus providing them with an opportunity to sell you on VZNav. And since it comes preinstalled the only difficulty you might have is your ability to read!
