    voicemail notification



    Why do I get a text message saying I have a voicemail when there is already an icon for it? Is there a way to disable the text notification for voicemail?

    The only way to get rid of it that I know if is to use Visual Voice Mail. Since I have started using it. I'm assuming that even though your profile says you're using an 8100 that you are asking about your Storm since you posted it in the Storm section.

    If you're on an 8100, there is no way to get rid of it. It's a system feature.

    There isn't to my knowledge unless you dissable SMS or opt out of voice mail. I find it a pain too, to haveta go into three different places to eliminate the voice mail.
