    If you have no voice-mails try calling your own number. Leave yourself a message and then call it back and check it and delete it. Also try a battery pull.

    I haven't had that issue, but I read on here somebody had that prob. and a batt pull solved it as long as all your vm has been cleared.

    This use to happen with me and my 8310 on ATT

    Call your VM.....if you have messages then listen to them and then hit the #7 to delete them.....then hit the * key to disconnect from your VM inbox.

    I found that if you listen to the message and then delete it and hang up that it doesn't reconize the hangup and fails to reset the "FLAG" on your VM inbox which caused the icon to never go away
