    So---it should make sense for Seidio to create a battery a few millimeters bigger to give us some more juice and better battery all at once, no? :-)
    Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?

    I just discovered a safer way to tighter the screen click. I just got my snap on rubber case from handheld.com and it works like a charm. I couldn't click the screen with the case and the paper in the batt cover. Just an fyi for those a bot hesitant to try the paper thing. The case was only six bucks. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

    I tried three thin business cards cut to fit on top of the battery and the unit responds much easier. In fact my wife has long nails and she had trouble clicking the screen until I put the business cards on top of the battery. Thanks for your suggestion.... Gary

    Between the paper on top of the battery and the new os it's like a new phone.

    Don't know if anyone will think this is as brilliant as I did, but ever since I had my Pearl, I taped an extra memory card to the battery door.

    Sounds dumb, but then I just pop off the cover, (no reboot) take out my backup card, (which I use to save videos and podcasts, high file-size stuff) and swap when I need it.

    All I use is a piece of scotch tape, and it slides in, stays, and when i need it, slides right back out from underneath the tape.

    On my storm, I positioned it right over the battery, so, same trick as the business cards...but my "business cards" store a whole season of House M.D.! lol

    Wouldn't this put outward stress on the cover latches?
    You have two ears, two eyes, and one mouth;
    therefore, listen and observe twice as often as you speak.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ also could try multiple layers of electrical tape. Safe for heat of device and peels off easily if you don't want it anymore. Its got some cushiness too...will help to immobilize batt door.

    As far as my memory card technique, I've noticed a slight stress, but I made sure it wasn't to the point where if I released the latches the thing would fly off due to pressure. Obviously this would be more managable with the business card/paper technique....but after doing this for 1.5 years on my pearl.....I never had an issue with the latches.
