Storm 9530 on vzw cant send sms text messages

The thread title pretty much says it all. I'm on hybrid OS 4.7.0.113/114. When I do a battery pull I can send 1 text message successfully, but that's it. Anyone heard of this issue before? Suggestions on how to fix?

Sounds like a network issue. Do you have good network coverage? What happens when you try to send another text?

Try going back to .109, that will atleast prove if it is an OS problem.

When I try to send a text it tries to send it for about 5 seconds then a red x shows up next to the message. No error message pops up. Unfortunately I'm not in a place that I can easily change my OS. I'm on the road and it has been like this for about 4 hours. So if its a network thing all of Florida would be effected.

Sometimes it can affect random users, not everyone.

So, it wasn't a one time thing. It has been happening intermittently all day. I did realize after my post that I am getting an error message. SMS error 3.
