sorry if this is a repeat question.. please help
i have the 64 bit version of vista on a sony vaio.. everytime i open the desktop manager , connect my phone and try and load a new app the main screen will close automacticaly but the transfer screen will stay there but i can not transfer any files or app's .. is there an easy fix for this or can some one point me in the right direction of a thread that can help me.. any info would be greatly appreciated
my desktop manager version is 126.96.36.199

There's a similar thread, I think the gist of it was that DM doesn't like to work so well with vista 64... Sorry for the bad news...

My fiance has 64 bit vista on HP laptop and he got the newer DM to work just fine. Try a different version. He even syncs it with Outlook 2007
yea try downloading version 4.7, buggy in some aspects, but the newer software is probably more compatible

Try maybe 4.6 DM. Maybe do some windows updates if needed too. Not sure, but he also turned of the windows user account control setting that pops up every 10 seconds to ask for permission on everything. I wish I could help more. He does not have any issues with it. :-/
Make sure your DM is set to "Run as administrator" since it needs administrative privledges in the Program Files (x86) folder to accomplish anything.
