sms and email question

How come when I get an email it comes up twice. As an sms and email? How can i change that?

hmm never heard that one clark...how are you getting emails as sms? i mean what do they look like?

yeah i got another one today....hence the post in the storm forum LOL. I synced my gmail account with my bb as well as my regular blackberry email. So what I do is email my phone OTA links for themes and apps.... but when I checked the email there was 4 and I only sent 2... kinda confused

ahh. it's just a confirmation email when you send one from gmail. if you don't want that you will have to set up a filter...but i have elected not to do that because like you,i email myself stuff and if you set up a filter you won't be able to do that.

I think in the email settings if you turn confirm delivery, confirm read, and send read receipts all off you won't get any emails.

how come my pin messages show up when I click on the "messages" icon?

that won't work. you have to set up a filter.

Then the theme must have them as combined
Put them as separate if you want to have two different icons for sms and emails.

No they arent messages, they are regular bbm texts
