    Setting up email correctly...

I have all my email accounts set up and they all work perfectly, however, when I send an email from any given email account, I get a copy of the email that I sent. How do I remove the copy that I get? It's quite annoying to get a copy of every email I send out. And it's not Delivery Confirmation email because I disabled that option for all email accounts... So any suggestions?

That is a common problem with gmail and there is an easy solution using filters on your BIS set up page. Read the link in my blog (just click below) to preventing duplciate messages in gmail, the same can be applied to any account.

when i had tmobile you had to actually log in to my tmobile and go to your email settings online and set up some filters to avoid that from happening... i believe it would be the same for verizon..

i have the storm now so i can't be too sure how that works since i haven't logged into the verizon wireless account yet.. let me know if you figure it out because i'd like to know.

Gary, is there anything NOT included in your Blog? Second time this morning I've seen you post a response like this... to completely different questions!

    Must be quite comprehensive!

(And to add to the conversation, yes, a filter is needed via the BIS account to prevent your sent messages from also being sent to you. VERY strange how or why that happens, but I'm sure Gary's blog will fully explain all that.

    Actually I'm just lazy
I initially set up that Blog with a list of links that I commonly found myself searching for and posting back to...makes it easier than trying to search for the thread when questions come up
