BB does everything I need it to do. Iphone doesn't, WM does but is unstable IMO, and Android isn't quite there yet, again IMO. I guess all I can really do is hold onto my stable Pearl until they work it out.
    Excellent post!

Prior to three loyal years with RIM, I used every other available smartphone. While I give credit to RIM for its prior excellence, their new "Deal with it" is a stance that I find repulsive.

I will no longer support a company with that attitude. Nor will I expect my new smartphone of choice to replicate the BlackBerry functions. The present and future is best enjoyed by those who adapt and embrace change. This is who I am. Thus I'm moving on.

So someone corect me if I'm wrong. In this statement he's telling me that his company is unable or incompetent to deal with this type of new cell phone technology. Where is the striving to become the best cell phone maker out there? All we get is this arrogant statement that honestly makes me wanna throw this phone through his window.

    That's a joke, right?

"Large volumes" have nothing to do with it.

    Volume is an independent variable.

You only have to write the software once!

    I call shenanigans!

After reading this thread and hearing Ranx's 8900 review, I am almost ready to bring back my Storm and go back to T-Mobile to get the 8900. I want UMA calling since I basically live in a dead zone, my coverage comes and goes as it pleases and the 8900 was launched with a stable OS

As long as the phone does what you need it to its all good. Right?… I mean apple, and the others are cool right? I don't if I would switch or not but if I did I'm not gonna be happy initially. Kinda like breaking up when its necessary but you still love that person. I would get over it I guess, I just never wanted to have to "move on"~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Arch is just protesting for a brief while. And I agree with his sentiments regarding the audacious arrogance and ineptitude expressed by Mr. Balsillie who's attitude I hope changes dramatically, and very soon.
