    Question Questions About Storm

    1) Does BBWeather not work on the Storm?
    2) Anyway to assign a custom ring tone to a group of people without having to do each contact individually?
    3) If I were to download video from a sharing program like Lime Wire, what format must the video be in to view on the Storm?
3.1) How do I get the video on to my Storm from my computer?

With response to item 2, you can go into your profiles and create an "exception". Add the contacts you want to it and then assign a ring tone.

I have an exception for my wife I also have one for friends. Very handy!

    1) OTA weatherbug
    3) Video needs to be in .MP4 format.
3.1) On you BlackBerry go to options > advanced options > turn on media support and mass storage mode (or put mass storage to prompt)
Plug in your BlackBerry to PC. Open your BlackBerry drive from My computer > BlackBerry > video. Then just drag and drop video files to that folder using Windows. No need for Roxio Media Manager.

I could do this on the 8830 but all I can find on the Storm is setting it up for individuals, completely different unless I'm looking in the wrong place...

Once you create one for an individual, can't you go in and edit it to add additional contacts? Check to see if there isn't a menu item for Add Contact when creating or editing.

I have gone into profiles and made exceptions. I am not sure if they work or not, but when I go back I cannot see any of the exceptions. The screen is white and I can scroll and click on exceptions and all it shows is the ringer name and the message name and NO names of the contacts.....weird.

Beginning to get frustrated with the Storm.
