I have to pull my battery for new music to show up, anybody else?

For some reason when I use the mass storage mode/windows-drag and drop method to transfer .MP3s to my device, I have to pull the battery to be able to successfully find the songs.

After I transfer the songs, I disconnect my device from my PC, go into media and the BlackBerry automatically goes into the media update mode where it searches the MicroSD card for a few minutes for new files. The problem is, after the auto search, the new files aren't searchable as I have to pull the battery, then let the Media app search again before being able to access the new files I put on the device.

It's more of an inconvenience than anything else, and I was just curious if using the (not my favorite PC resource hog) Roxio Media Manager program resolves this?

Sidenote: this has been on my previous OS versions for the 9530, as I have not yet tested with 4.7.109

I was reading a thread on a beta OS for the 8900 and a few people had this problem. Specifically, they stated that they couldn't see new music, period. I don't know if they tried a battery pull, though. Upgrading the OS often fixed this problem.

It may be OS related, try transferring some new music on the new OS.

I didnt have that problem with .103 at all. I used the drag and drop method too.
This is my Blackberry. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Blackberry is useless. Without my Blackberry I am useless.

Sometimes I have the problem but I will either hook my phone back up to my computer and unhook it and it shows up or I just do a quick pull off the media card since its hot swappable.

I will see if the issue is still there with the new .109 tonight.

Issue is still there with .109, not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.

I have the issue as well. When adding large amounts of music and/or videos they don't show up until i pull the battery. Very annoying.
    Device history: 8100 > 8320 > 8900 & 9530. Keep crackin'
