    but do you all notice light "leaking" out from the screen's perimeter and from around the 4 buttons on the storm's front? I imagine it's totally normal based upon the design of the moveable screen and all - just curious

    yes mine is the same as well.... you know what i've really hated thus far is putting a freaking screen protector on.. i can never get it on perfect and if i try to fix it i get an air bubble or lint/hair underneath it since anything clings to it.. sheesh, lol

    yeah mine is like that.

    I lowered the blacklight to 10% and it doesnt show as bright now.

    Yes, that is a normal characteristic of this model. Upon closer inspection, I believe there is a way to seal this much like they do on laptop displays. I would expect that RIM may address this on the next generation.

    It did that on my first stom but on my second one theres no light leaking besides the one below the hard buttons.
    Nothing from around the screen.
